Why it's important to you
Insurance fraud involves an individual or entity’s intentional deception, concealment, or misrepresentation that could result in some unauthorized benefit to the individual, entity, or some other party.
Insurance premium rates are set, in part based on the cost of benefits that are paid. Fraud needlessly increases the amount of benefits that are paid out, which raises the cost of insurance each of us pay.
What we're doing about it
We fight fraud as part of our effort to assure that our premiums are kept as low as possible.
American Enterprise Group, Inc., has a Special Investigation Unit (SIU) that investigates suspected fraud and ethics violations and takes appropriate action, including making referrals to law enforcement officials.
We've also partnered with the EthicsPoint Web Reporting System, which is a confidential and anonymous solution for reporting illegal or unethical activities. EthisPoint does not track visitors to this website. You can choose to provide your name or remain anonymous. When submitting a report please complete all screens of the Web Report Form and provide all required information —required fields are bold. No information will be transmitted until you click the submit button on the final screen.
Even though EthicsPoint takes every report we receive seriously, we are not a 911 or emergency service. Please contact your local emergency services if you need to report a critical situation.
Your organization's ability to respond to your report depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. The best and easiest way to report your concerns is to call hotline. A specially trained operator will confidentially document your concern for you and make sure all the important details are included.
If you suspect someone may be committing a fraud or ethics violation against our organization, contact our Fraud and Ethics Hotline at (800) 678-6685 or visit our EthicsPoint Web Reporting System. All calls and website inquiries will be handled discreetly and confidentially.
